Masaya Nicaragua

Resolved Question: If you are not from the U.S., could you tell me some things about your country?
For example, I’m from Nicaragua. In Nicaragua people listen to a mixture of music from Latin America such as Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Mexican music. They also have traditional music that includes Folklore Music, Palo de Mayo, and Marimba:

In Nicaragua, people love baseball, boxing, and rodeo. They also love dance clubs and going out to the beaches. Much of the typical food people eat include foods made of corn, rice and beans, soups, tortillas, and fruit drinks. Some of the cities include Managua, Masaya, Esteli, Granada, Leon, and Bluefields. Some things I’m particular proud of are the fact that although Nicaragua is a poor country that has suffered many wars and natural disasters, their spirit and pride never lets down! Some things people really don’t know about is that Nicaragua is a country divided in two - while the west coast region is composed mostly of people of Spaniard and Amerindian descent who speak Spanish, the east coast region is composed mainly of people of African descent who speak English - they were brought over by the British from Africa.

For example, what type of music do they listen to? What do people do for fun? What type of foods do they eat? What are the biggest cities? What are the things you are particularly proud of? What are things that a lot of people don’t know or misinterpret about your country?
